T’s & C’s IN BRIEF TERMS:
General

• The hirer must be 18+ and is responsible for all equipment during the hire.
• A refundable booking security deposit secures your date.
• The remaining hire balance is due 1 week (7 days) before your booking.
• Equipment is for private use only, unless agreed otherwise.
• We may cancel or reschedule due to adverse weather, unsafe access, or unsuitable venue conditions.
Safety
• Equipment must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
• Keep the play area free from sharp objects, furniture, and hazards.
• No food, drink, face paint, confetti, glitter, or pets on/near the equipment.
• Shoes, jewellery, and sharp items must be removed before play.
• Do not move equipment to another location after agreed setup.
Damages & Deposits
• The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage during the hire.
• The security deposit is refunded after collection/inspection, provided hired items are clean and undamaged.
• Extra cleaning charges may apply (e.g., food, drink, glitter, silly string, pen or paints).
Cancellations
• 7+ days’ notice: booking can be transferred to a new date (subject to availability).
• Under 7 days’ notice: booking fee is forfeited.
• In cases of illness or emergencies, please contact us promptly — we’ll always try to help.
Liability
• Simply Soft Play MK accepts no responsibility for injury or damage arising from any misuse or neglect of the equipment. SSPMK has full liability insurance cover.
• All hire equipment is insured and regularly inspected for safety and cleanliness.

By booking and hiring any equipment supplied and delivered by Simply Soft Play MK, you agree to our Terms & Conditions of hire as set out below:
Agreement Terminology in this agreement:
“You” “Your” or “The Hirer”: Refers to the individual or entity responsible for the completion and confirmation of any booking package/s that is located at the specified delivery and set-up address given on the booking form.
“Us” “We” “Our” “SSPMK” or “Simply Soft Play MK”: Refers to the equipment supplier, responsible for providing the equipment hire as requested, and any other services as may be outlined in the booking agreement.
Booking & Cancellation
To check the availability of your desired date and equipment required, contact us via telephone, email, text, or utilise the booking enquiry form on our website.
When completing the booking form on our website, ensure you select the appropriate hire option/s as required.
All bookings will be confirmed by Simply Soft Play MK by telephone, text, or email upon the receipt of a completed Booking Form.
A deposit (as set out below) is required to secure the desired booking upon the agreed confirmation of a hire booking from us, which is refundable upon equipment being collected undamaged and in a re-usable condition. A deposit confirmation will be provided by text or email. This deposit will be returned (by the same payment method) once the hire is over, and the equipment has been collected and checked as undamaged and un-soiled. Any booking confirmation will be by telephone, text, or email from us, and the booking deposit is then payable immediately to secure the agreed date and time.
Failure to pay the required deposit on time after an agreed booking confirmation by us will leave the chosen date and time as available and vacant for hire.
Our hire deposit rates are set out as below:
For hire cost £75.00 to £100.00 a £50.00 deposit is required.
For hire cost £100.00 to £300.00 an £80.00 deposit is required.
For hire cost £300.00 to £500.00 a £100.00 deposit is required.
For hire cost £500.00 to £1000.00 a £250.00 deposit is required.
In the event of any damaged or soiled equipment (photographs will be taken for evidence), the deposit paid becomes non-refundable, and any repair or cleaning cost exceeding the deposit amount paid will also be payable and invoiced separately. Please notify Simply Soft Play MK immediately if any issues occur during the Hire. Simply Soft Play MK staff will assess the issue and agree on appropriate action with the Hirer.
An itemised invoice may be sent (upon request) after the hire. If repair or cleaning costs exceed the deposit amount. Any loss or replacement costs will be additionally charged to the Hirer.
Full payment is due seven days before the confirmed Hire date and a payment confirmation will be provided in addition to the deposit invoice. Payment can be made by direct bank transfer, or by using a Debit/Credit Card.
In the event of any cancellation 7 days or less before the hire date the deposit is forfeited as it is non-refundable. If 8 days or more cancellation notice is given, the deposit can either be transferred for re-booking on another day (subject to availability), or refunded in full.
Any changes to the booking must be communicated in writing via an email, text, or telephone call, and agreed upon by Simply Soft Play MK before the Hire commences.
All prices are subject to change at any time, but this excludes any confirmed bookings with deposit paid.
If Simply Soft Play MK cancels the booking (excluding reasons beyond our control), a full refund will be issued.
We cannot guarantee the British weather if outside, and therefore Hirer’s will be responsible for cleaning/drying any equipment before collection due to any unexpected showers. SSPMK may cancel any outdoor bookings at any time due to inclement weather conditions on the day of hire (or for any forecast of inclement weather conditions prior to hire). Any initial deposit paid will be fully refundable in this instance.
Simply Soft Play MK Hire Package prices include equipment hire for up to three hours, (not including our setup and takedown times), unless otherwise specified or agreed by Simply Soft Play MK. Any additional time required will be charged at £15.00 per hour.
Delivery, Setup, and Collection
It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that the site measurements are adequate for the selected hire package and that there is sufficient space around the play equipment. If adequate or unsuitable space is not available at the venue site for the ordered package/s, the original hire charge/s will still apply, and deposit forfeited.
Please allocate the following times upon hire:
Simply Soft Play MK will deliver your chosen equipment to your venue at least 45 minutes before the event and pick up at least 15 minutes after the event. The Hirer is responsible for preparing the equipment for collection at the agreed time.
IMORTANT INFORMATION:
Please inform us before booking of ANY parking, access/road restrictions, height restrictions, or if there isn’t parking directly outside the venue. Please if possible arrange for near parking and/or easy access for a LWB van. In doing so it will enable us to be prepared, deliver and set-up on time and not cause any delays. It is the sole responsibility of the Hirer to ensure easy access to the venue for unloading and loading of equipment. Any restrictions that become in force after booking such as lack of access or parking restrictions due to road works must be reported to Simply Soft Play MK before delivery.
Packages include free delivery to venues within 20 miles of Newport Pagnell. Venues beyond 20 miles will incur a 50p per mile delivery fee; please contact us for any delivery/collection cost calculation.
We will strive to deliver on time, but Simply Soft Play MK will not be held responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic or access restriction problems, or adverse weather conditions.
Should Simply Soft Play MK fail to deliver on the day of the booking for any reason (excluding delivery time delays), a full booking refund will be given.
It will be the responsibility of the hirer to ensure someone is present at the delivery and collection location date and time. Failure for Simply Soft Play MK to be able to collect equipment hired as prior arranged will be additionally charged pro rata until collected.
Outdoor soft play is ONLY allowed to be used outside between the May & September months.
All Soft Play outdoor Hirers should BE AWARE that for outdoor use the vinyl and mats can become very hot in the sun, mirrors may reflect into eyes, the soft play can be easily soiled or damaged, and may not be completely waterproof due to rain, and therefore should be moved (or covered) to a dry place.
Outdoor hire equipment is ideally to be set up on a clean flat grassed area and clear of any stones, thorns, or sharp objects.
Simply Soft Play MK recommends maintaining at least a 3ft/1m gap from obstructions. We do not accept responsibility for accidents, injuries, or damages during the hire period. The Hirer must inform Simply Soft Play MK staff of any damage, loss, or soiling that cannot be rectified.
For Venue Soft Play Hire, Simply Soft Play MK will set up the equipment, and it must not be moved from the play area set up during the Hire. We do not accept responsibility for accidents, injuries, or damages during the hire period and recommend the Hirer obtains their own insurance for coverage.
Health & Safety
It is the responsibility of the person hiring our Home Hire, Venue Soft Play hire Packages to ensure safety, avoid injury, or any damage. Please adhere to and note the following Safety Instructions:
The Soft Play hire has a general age limit of 0-6 years old Please ensure that no one over these ages uses the Soft Play.
Please maintain the cleanliness of our equipment. If professional cleaning is required before the next hire, extra charges may apply.
Please don’t allow food, sweets, drinks, face paint, stickers, glitter, fun string canisters, or chewing gum near or on the soft play equipment, and to prevent possible choking, mess, or damage. In these instances the booking deposit will be revoked and/or additional cleaning or repair charges will apply if the equipment is returned soiled or damaged.
Remove shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges before using the Soft Play equipment.
No smoking or vaping on or near the Soft Play equipment at any time.
A responsible adult (over 18 years old) must be in supervision at all times for soft play hire and must NOT be intoxicated whilst supervising. Simply Soft Play MK accepts no liability for accidents or injuries during the equipment hire, and recommends obtaining personal insurance for the day.
Children must NOT engage in aggressive or harmful behaviour.
No somersaults, play fighting is allowed.
Please don’t allow any pets and sharp instruments near or on the Soft Play equipment.
Ensure a clear area of 3 feet (1 meter) around the equipment for safety.
General
For the Ball Pit, please re-bag the balls if at all possible before collection ideally using a plastic bucket as a scoop.
Report any damage caused to the equipment as soon as possible, additional fees may apply.
The Hirer is responsible for any soiling cleaning, equipment loss, or damage during the Hire Period and will be charged accordingly.
Simply Soft Play MK is covered by Public Liability Insurance, and a copy of this insurance is available upon request.
Disclaimer
Please be aware that all individuals using our equipment do so at their own risk. The person or organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible and liable for any damage or injury resulting from misuse, reckless use, or failing to adhere to our Health & Safety hire guidelines above. These guidelines are established for the safety of all users of this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the Hirer to ensure compliance. Our company cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused by misuse to anyone using our equipment.
Our Terms & Conditions are subject to any changes required by law, pricing, or hire equipment updates required.
